Dr. Hythem Shadid

Dr. Hythem Shadid is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and is President of Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. He has been in practice since 1994 and specializes in advanced knee, hip, and shoulder conditions. He is a distinguished researcher, participating in consistent clinical studies on knee, shoulder, and hip conditions, specifically as it relates to innovative orthopedic treatments. He was also a pioneer in performing innovative orthopedic techniques that are developed specifically to individual anatomy. He serves and has served as team physician for professional, collegiate, and local sports teams, most notably US Soccer.

He is a frequent lecturer at national and international medical events, has been a consistent guest with TUDN Radio Chicago & Univision with Hector Lozano (discussing current sports injuries), and is the past president of the DuPage County Medical Society. With Genesis Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Dr. Shadid performs patient care across all Chicagoland.
